Kaden Prather Say Hello to fourteen year - old Kaden Prather. Native of Sandy Spring, MD, Prather is a Wide Out for the Montgomery County Knights. Standing at 6 – feet and 3 – inch & weighing 180 pounds, Prather is one of the most physically gifted prospects we’ve covered this Spring. The young wide out is light on his feet, has massive hands and is very physical (something that’s not normally associated with offensive skill positions). The MoCo standout is a two - way player for the 14U Knights, also starting at Defensive End on defense. Comparable to a young Calvin Johnson, he’s a match up nightmare with his size and length but also has traits of those smaller/quicker receivers you like the Antonio Brown’s and Odell Beckham’s of the world. Ironically so, Prather models his game after Beckham “Even though he’s a little smaller we are very similar. We both want the ball in our hands and we hate losing.” Much like Beckham, Prather comes from an athletic background, his Dad was a high school football player and Mom ran track. Prather dreams of playing for a big - time program like “The U” (University of Miami), West Virginia or LSU. Ultimately his goal is to make it to the pros. A dream that has been manifesting since the age of 8 when he began playing the game of football “If it wasn’t for football lord knows what I would be doing. My inspiration is my family, I owe it all to them.” Whoever is lucky enough to land this prospect at the high school level is getting a hungry & gifted athlete. We are excited about Kaden’s future.
